I was in Addis for a few days for Everyday Silver and personal research with no internet and so much coffee, culture and colors.
We spent the days driving with Mente in the blue taxi around the city to look at cotton threads and looms to source fabric. Our mornings started with coffee stops and a ceremony. And for lunch, we managed to eat injera almost everyday.
In summary, go for coffee, music and textile and have an open mind.
