From August 2013 to August 2014

When we moved to San Francisco, we were aware it will be for one year only, but we needed that one year off from everything to rediscover ourselves and just find out what we want to do next. I trully believe in order to understand yourself you will need a three months getaway from everything or in our case almost a year.

Since we lived between Mission and Market street, we used to spend so much time at Sightless Coffee and Blue Bottle Coffee near our house. And if we felt like walking, we go to The Mill for coffee and toast, however, it's on the other side of Market street. But we needed our coffee and toast fix. For food, we loved Amber the most. We also made sure we go to every farmers market in the city, heart of the city one was my favorite. Also, we loved going to the ferry building farmers market for fresh produce, Blue Bottle Coffee and Italian Doughnuts.

Sometimes when we rent a car, we like to stop by Front cafe at Potrero Hill before we head to Muir woods or Ocean beach and Lands End Sea Cliff. I can't remember how many times we took days off to just go out and enjoy the city.

Union Square wasn't my favorite but I used to go to Mocca on Maiden Lane for lunch then walk the hills of China Town. That was my workout.
